Radiolarians: Construction of Spherical Skeleton

The skeleton of spherical radiolarians, which consists basically of a network of hexagonally shaped structures, also contains some non-hexagonal structures, since a network made up entirely of hexagons cannot completely cover a spherically shaped organism.
