Sodium Iodide Crystal Dosimeters for Use in Surveys of Regions of High Background Radiation

In a study of selected regions of high background radiation in Brazil, thallium-activated NaI crystals were used as density amplifiers for dosimeter film badges. Calibration experiments were made, and the field results are summarized.
