Example of 3 hours trial condensed in a 1 min. movie of the collective choice between a light (left one) and dark (right one) shelter. The experimental setup is filmed from above. The movie shows the progressive selection of the lighter shelter by a mixed group of 12 cockroaches and 4 pheromone coated robots. The robots are programmed to prefer the lighter shelter (see Fig.3).

Example of interactions between cockroaches and robots. The movie shows in real-time one minute of a 3H trial. The experimental setup contains 12 cockroaches and 4 robots.
