Supplemental table 1. Mouse genes on chromosome 16 without an identifiable human counterpart.
These 14 genes appear to be unique to the mouse. For each transcript the second column gives the confidence of the prediction (Otto is highest, for the "promoted" transcripts 4 is the highest confidence and 1 is the lowest). Promote 2, Promote 3, and Promote 4 correspond to genes with 2 to 4 lines of evidence, respectively, as described in Table 8 of (1). The last column gives protein domain information (if available), the best hit (by BLASTP) for the translation of the transcript (if available) (the expectation value in parentheses), and a Gene Ontology (GO) assignment (if available).
