Erratum

In Mark Crawford's News & Comment article "Lab report puts SSC magnets in limbo" (25 Aug., p. 809), it was said that the Bush Administration could request $900 million in funding in for the Superconducting Super Collider for fiscal year 1991. That number is wrong. The correct estimate for project funding is $593 million.
