Erratum

The first two sentences of the report "Asian dust: Seasonal transport to the Hawaiian Islands" by J. R. Parrington et al. (8 Apr., p. 195) should have read as follows: "Transport of vast quantities of Sahara desert dust westward across the Atlantic Ocean to Bermuda has been known since the late 1960's (1, 2). Strong evidence now exists for transport of large quantities of Asian dust eastward across the North Pacific (3-7)."
