In the article "The new inflationary universe" by M. MitchellWaldrop (Research News, 28 Jan., p. 375), it was stated incorrectlythat, in the standard model, the expanding universe cooled below1027 degrees Kelvin about 1035 seconds after the Big Bang. Thecorrect time is 1035 second.
