BCG inhibition of murine leudemia: local suppression and systemic tumor immunity require different doses

The quantitative relationship between bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) and tumor cells which are optimal for suppressing the growth of tumor cells in BCG-tumor cell mixtures are detrimental to the development of a sustained, systemic tumor rejection immunity in the LSTRA murine leukemia.
