6beta-Hydroxy-dgr1-tetrahydrocannabinol, a metabolite of dgr1-tetrahydrocannabinol has been synthesized from dgr6-tetrahydrocannabinol. It shows high tetrahydrocannabinol-type activity in rhesus monkeys. The implications of this funding are discussed.
