Intensity Fluctuations of a Relativistically Expanding Source

It is shown that the relation between the size of an object and the period of a fluctuation in its brightness must be modified if the surface whose brightness is fluctuating is expanding at a relativistic velocity, in the sense that faster fluctuations are possible for the expanding surface.
