Nitrogen: Formation by Photooxidation of Ethylene in the Presence of Its Oxides

The apparent lack of nitrogen balance for the photooxidation systems containing olefin and nitrogen oxides can beexplained by evidence for the production of molecular nitrogen; molecular nitrogen was identified by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
