Coenzyme Q: Intracellular Distribution in Rhodospirillum rubrum

Whole cells and cell membranes of Rhodospirillum rubrum prepared by lysozyme treatment and osmotic lysis of cells were analyzed for coenzyme Q. All the coenzyme Q was localized in the cell membranes.
