Attack Elicited by Stimulation of the Thalamus of Cats

Electrical stimulation of sites in the medial thalamus leads to attack upon rats. This attack summates with attack elicited by hypothalamic stimulation. Stimulation of other thalamic sites suppresses hypothalamic attack, while excitation of still others facilitates it.
